Everything you need to know about the Minor is business is

All you need to know is that:
i) As stated previously, you don't have to "apply" for a minor in Business. All you do is notify it on your graduation card and assuming you fulfill the requirements (i.e. you've taken the necessary 24 units), you will graduate with that designation. It's worth mentioning that minors don't appear on your diploma.
ii) There is no limit to the number of people that can receive a business minor in any given year, as that'd be an incredibly terrible idea, even by McMaster's standards. Could you imagine how pissed people would be if they completed all the courses for a minor, but because of some arbitrary cap on the number of people allowed to receive it, missed out?
The one line that causes people to think this seems to be this one:

And all this is that
enrolment in the courses that get you the business minor is limited to 40 people if you're not registered in a program that requires them (i.e. Commerce or Eng Management), meaning that unfortunately, you DO have to fight through Mugsi and Solar to get a seat.
