So I just found out that I got a scholarship and they added it directly into my student account. Now there is a - amount of money in there, so the university owes me money. I was just wondering if their was a way that I can get that money from the school before the end of the year when they mail our the cheques for the over balance on there?

Also, about how long does it take for the student accounts to show a payment done online through my own bank? Cause I paid my balance last week sometime and it still doesn't show a payment from my bank, only the scholarship.

If the amount of your scholarship exceeded the balance owing on your student account, a cheque will be mailed to your contact address. Payments take 3-5 business days to appear in your Account Statement.

Would they be sending the cheque right away though? Cause the school owed me money before and they only sent a cheque at the end of the term

It should be around 4 weeks since the time they put the money in your account.
