How much money do you think Mac spends every winter on salt?
I've seriously had to wash my jeans like 100 times....

Not enough. I still pass some pretty icy patches on my way to class. Doesn't really help that the arts quad is super slippery when it's wet and random tiles are loose around KTH.

They use too much salt. Costs a bit more but a mixture of dirt and salt is better for maintaining roads and sidewalks

The benefits outweigh not having people slip and become hospitalized, if thats what point you're missing is.. how you manage to get salt on your jeans is far beyond my imagination ability.. pull up your pants.
