Because we all know it's going to happen, so let's keep it organized.

If it's not an option to select, I guess you'll have to see your department office and ask for permission?
I got into MUGSI after about 40 minutes and SOLAR soon after, but the real slap in the face came when I saw that one of the courses I wanted to take was full. This was at 8:45, according to my clock.
So no hate for MUGSI or SOLAR, but there's definitely hate for anyone taking up a spot in Eng 2P04. =\

Why is our school so stupid?... theres 1000s of students.. and i think it should be made such that we are all able to access it. This is retarded, what is this the dark ages?.. psshy mcmaster = major incompetence!

Well it was an option and everything but when I clicked to verify everything it said I couldn't take it because I didn't have the prerequisite. How would I go about resolving the issue?

Contact the faculty; I find the quickest way is to send the Undergraduate Advisor for your respective level a quick email. They're quite speedy with responses and if they for some reason, decide not to grant the waiver, they let you know fast enough so that you can plan in advance.

I don't think it's "retarded"; I think it's just ignorant. Also ignorant is use of the word "retarded". The struggles of the mentally challenged are not comparable to sitting and clicking a button to register for a few courses.

i dont mean to seem mean but sitting there and pressing a button over and over again.. well ya seems a bit retarded unless you enjoy it and then by all means get 2 it.. and i am aware what retarded means.. thats why i used it and its a term i am not denoting against those with the problem rather to the situation at hand and the mental structure of mcmaster university registration for courses.. yep i like how i justified myself
