NANTHAKUMAR, L: I found your student card
Some construction guys found his student card on Emerson Street and gave it to me as I was walking by since I am a Mac student. If you know him, please PM me so I can return his card to him!

You could bring it to the Registrar's office. They will be able to contact the student.

Or, look on facebook.

Doing a facebook search based on the last name? lol...
You have control over your privacy settings, you choose to let people do that.

It was still unnecessary since if they or a friend of the person found this post, they would know from the title and they wouldnt have to link it to pictures

The information is readily available. And idk, I'd much rather some random person facebook me to tell me they found my student card rather than post it on MI. The chances of finding that person on MI are much slimmer than finding them on facebook.
But yeah, I removed the link. It is quoted though in icecubz's post, and anyone can still look it up using the name (which is why I didn't think it was creepy).

I agree with you here. Linking to the person's FB profile is not creepy since it is easily searchable, provided you have an account on FB.

Look at that, first post and you already have 11 likes. You'd do well on Reddit.
