If you are still interested in sciences, you could consider practical programs at michener institute, the only academic institution in Canada devoted exclusively to applied health sciences education. It's located in Toronto.
I think it offers degrees in ultrasound, medical laboratory technology, Chiropody, respiration therapy, genetics. These are all career-geared degrees for jobs in demand in health care today.

Although some of these programs are direct entry from high school, you will have an easier time gettting in with a bachlors degree. In some, some are exclusively second entry programs for those with a science degreee already.

BUT, if you hate sciences, take a business undergrad degree. or something else like engirineering

Maybe for some people that matters

BUt for others, what matters is a job that is in demand in today's time.

These health care careers are all in high demand according to Stats Canada, and the pay is not bad for starters (i think 50-90k) . they are mostly an additional 2 or 3 years of schooling....

another undergrad or masteres might also be an option, but make sure that you are employable at the end, because i think that is what matters to OP. (especially after the life sci degree)

Wait ---- do you want a long list of University credentials or a career?

Don't forego college programs just because of some perception that college is less than University... Graduates of some of the programs identified previously are making extravagant amounts of money doing the things they love... And you would be at the top of the applicant lists, coming in with a University degree.

What is it about a diploma that you don't want?
It will help you get a job, which is what you identified as your primary objective in you original post. In fact, it will likely be MORE effective at helping you get a job than a degree.

If you would rather get a degree, but don't know what you want the degree in or what career you want out of it, it sounds like you're just trying to put off making an actual career decision (e.g. "perpetual student")

Well that's unfortunate... I don't think any feedback has been extraordinarily harsh, but the OP has decided to remove him/herself from the discussion, and moderate their previous comments...
