Need to replace windows. Where to look, what good brands are there, and what's the price?

I don't think you are talking about the Operating System, are you? I'm confused from the subject of the thread and the content of your post.

I thought the same but in his post he said Brand of windows so I clicked in.

To OP, do you rent or own the home? If you rent but are the one who has to replace windows, ask your landlord to see who they recommend

Well duh, I own the place thus why I asked. If I didn't like something about my place I would move away, like the rest of renters do.
