Depends on personal preference Thomas!! And if you're willing to shell out $1500 for a laptop...
Also depends what you're using it for, how you're using it etc.

Does this data represent the whole world? I have the feeling those numbers would be very different for Canada.

Through my 2 years at Mac, except for the profs who use the lecture room computer or my Comp Sci 1TA3 prof, all my other profs used Macs. I'd say it's close to 75%.

I know Thode is filled with Macs, but I haven't seen any other libraries with Macs in them.

And as for students, maybe it's just because they stand out more, but it seems like a lot more students have Macs than Windows laptops.

trust me its not a big deal mac or pc

just go with what ever u like u can manage with both

i personally got a mac and im happy with it

In before pcs are better than macs

About 35/40 of my profs have used pcs if I recall correctly

PC's are the most popular at McMaster amongst students. Although more and more students are now becoming Mac users. Anecdotal source of course.

Also libraries are different. Thode uses Macs, Mills + Health Sci Library uses windows.
