But at the same time, they have so many employees.. and uploading the new status/files shouldn't take as long as it's taking now, with the whole 2 weeks + thing

There are always applications rolling in until the deadline (sometime in August). I think it'll take a week or two.
How do you know they have so many employees?

It's government run. That means 6 employees all working 40 hour weeks to do the same work one person can do on their own in an hour

The funding is released in 2 parts.
One in September, one in January.
You pick up your OSAP from the Student Financial Aid Office in September and January respectively

The pick-up is actually in the CIBC Hall on the second floor of the Student Centre.

The only time you pick it up at Financial services I believe is if you miss picking it up during the initial OSAP period.

I think it's actually 3rd floor of student centre. Don't get confused and go to Gilmour Hall :]
