It might take time to process...if you go to MUGSI>My Academics>Program & Course Summary, are you listed as 'fully registered'? If not, then they haven't finished processing you yet. It might take longer due to the large volume of people completing the registration process now. If you are fully registered, then you should be able to access it :S

Once you sign onto MUGSI, there's also an option to "enable macID services" (under 'quick links' on the right)...have you done that? It's different from actually activating it--activating it allows you to register, and enabling services allows you to use it to access things like email (and maybe OSCAR too?).

If you've done that and still can't get on, then you can try calling the number listed on the OSCAR login page, or email University Technology Services at [email protected]

OSCAR has job listings...you search through them and can apply to whichever ones you want/feel you qualify for. Sometimes the employer wants you to email them directly to apply, other times you can upload your resume/cover letter/other necessary documents onto OSCAR and apply from there.
OSCAR is also where you apply to get into a co-op program.

The work-study application is to see if you qualify for the work-study program--you must demonstrate financial need to qualify. There's a section of jobs listed on OSCAR specifically for people who have been approved for the work-study program.

Neither of these things guarantees you a job. You have to search and apply to jobs yourself.

Hey, quick question: what does the 'employer view' under referrals mean? and why does nothing show when i click on it? Also, do we have to put our residence address if we're entering first year? cause technically it's not our address yet...

I've been getting that same error for the last year. Contact Career Services is what I was told.

I don't see "referrals" or "employer view", so I'm not sure what you mean :S

You can put whatever address you prefer, and change it whenever necessary.
