Need a student plan for BTS?
http://eceplayground.com/2010/08/14/...-telus-rogers/

We wrote that article mianly for students to compare the student plans side by side. The bell plan has changed i think since the article was posted, but a comment was posted to update you guys on the new plan.

Hope its helpful in helping you decide the best of the 3 big carriers (telus/bell/rogers)

Im personally with TELUS and i love their customer service and ability to work out good deals for you. If you guys like telus' offerings but want to go with bell/rogers, its worth a shot calling their retentions department to see if they can match telus' plan or maybe add a couple bonus' in for you!

Ya the student plans for TELUS are absolutely amazing and I'm with TELUS right now and I love their customer service and wireless services. I wish I could change my plan to the $55 student plan but it's only available for renewals and activations :( Tried so hard to get it, ughhh. Oh well, I'm happy with what I got

It really annoys me that none of the plans include caller id. It is an important feature and they charge 5-7$ for it.

My friend had a similar problem with bell. He wrote a email to a manager and complained about how the new customers are getting better treatment then he is and how he should have the right to switch to the new plans being offered since he is a loyal customer etc. And they caved in and offered him the plan with some other stuff

Probably a stupid question but I'll ask anyway:

Anytime minutes are used for incoming calls in addition to outgoing, right?

Yup, incoming and outgoing.

TELUS seems to be best, cause you get voicemail 3 included... rogers/bell dont have that. CallerID is a ripoff, im so thankful my plan had it, so when I renewed contract, they have it free again.
