New to OSAP
Okay, so this is my first year I am getting osap...

Say I'm supposed to get $1 osap.

In september I got 60% of this... so $0.60

But yesterday I was supposed to recieve the other 40% right? But the thing is I only got the total of my Canada student loan which adds up to be a little over 75% of my, Canada Student Loan + Ontario Student load.

In the end, I'm still missing the chunk of the Ontario Student Loan... Is this normal? Am I supposed to get two different deposits into my account by the end of this week? Or do i need to call the financial aid people and figure this out?

OR does this have to do with the new rebate... which in my case would not cover my ontario student loan.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

My friend had the same concern. I think that the first thing you should do is check your OSAP page (the Financial Report section) and see the amount of money that has been released This is the money that has been sent out and it would have been the money that you should have received.

In my friend's case, a part of the money was a different type of loan that would either be deposited (if you have that set up) or mailed to you as a cheque

Hope this helps!
