I believe its main and emerson. I don't have confirmation on that though. Best bet if you're on campus tomorrow is to ask compass.

I believe most HSR busses that normally go on campus will now stop at Main and Emerson. The King 1A and the 10 Beeline will also go to the hospital, like normal.

This doesn't affect me too much, because I always take the Beeline so I always have to walk to Main and Emerson. But during the last strike, the Main and Emerson stop got so busy - there were TONS of students all huddled on the one corner. It was so dangerous..

Taken from the article:

"Centro (Commons Building), East Meets West Bistro (Mary Keyes Residence), My Mini Mac (Mary Keyes Residence), Tim Hortons (University Centre), Williams Cafe (Faculty of Health Sciences) and IAHS Café (Institute for Applied Health Services Building) will continue to be open."

ughhh, definetly going to get lost tomorrow trying to get to school/home. It seems that we off-campus students will actually get hit harder here.

Great union going on strike for something very small IMO.

The worst part is if it is like last strike where they blocked cootes entrance causing a traffic jam, ambulances couldn't get by easily and were delayed ~minute. You can imagine how frustrating that is to see.

Yay, by the time I graduate this school its reputation will be worse than York's. We might as well drop out now because any employer will scoff when they see a McMaster degree.

If you are on campus... it hardly does anything. Unless you really love Bridges or La Piazza.

I hear there's some sort of picket line at Cootes, so some off campus students' commutes got a minute or two slower. Though if what was posted about the ambulance was true I can't imagine it lasting much longer.

I.E. It's nothing major for the students, we can go on with our lives fairly unaffected during the strike,

Rakim says thanks to REPLEKIA/. for this post.

ive talked with some of the workers and its actually some big cuts apparently, I dont know the details but apparently its enough to cause a 96% strike vote (on the first offer)

and it affects us because there wont be any cinnamon buns in thode
