New YouTube Player?
I'm not sure if this only works for my computer or not, but I suspect it works for this specific video. I tried other videos and they have the normal white bar version of the YouTube player so I know it's not just some recent update that happened for all the videos on YouTube. This video's different because it has a version of the player that I haven't seen before. Could it be a secret NEW player that YouTube is working on? The link is *hopefully* down below...

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DeG2_kpSYx XI

The latest comment is from like 1 month ago so nobody's commented on it and Google seems to come up empty so I thought I'd try here

Who knows, this might be just an option that YouTube gives posters and everyone except this guy might just prefer white... O_o

Thoughts?

P.S. If the video is changed or anything, here are screenshots of what I saw (raw images sans editing)

With mouse off video:

With play/pause bar up:

Cool. I think I might have figured it out...
On Google Chrome, all videos play in the "new" format but when I watched the video or any video for that matter on Firefox, it was the classic player. This makes sense I guess; I find it hard to believe that my computer or IP address would uniquely get this "update".

However, the "update" was on that one video before but then it spread to others and considering that Google and YouTube are like best buds, this might reach the other browsers as well

What are the numbers after that or which channel are you using (Stable, Beta, Dev, Canary). I'm also using chrome but I don't see the new player...

The numbers are (12.0.742.100). I would suspect that that is the stable version...

I also tried logging out of my YouTube account to ensure that it wasn't an account specific setting.
