It might be a new thing, but pretty much all of our T.A.'s and profs have stated from the get-go that they won't accept our assignments unless we send them through our mac-emails, something to do with accountability or something.

Nope, it's not new. They've drilled that into our heads since last year. Because they can't know who you really are, etc. Also, I think that's essentially what Jackie was saying about linking your emails and sending an email from Gmail under your MacID email. I'm still going to try it now though . I'll let you know if I can!
