Ontario's Best Lecturer
In 2008 Mac's own Dr. Nick Bontis was nominated as one of the participants for TVO's Ontario's Best Lecturer program.

TVO is re-launching the contest for 2009, with the show(s) airing in 2010. To nominate a prof all you need to do is fill out a short application. Applications are due October 12 2009.

Are you thinking about nominating anyone? If so, who and why?

Well I was thinking of nominating Todd Alway for 1G06 butttt I realized the TVO people will be highly bemused by his can of coke and is unknown reason to NOT use a mike and instead scream every single lecture!

I had Dr. Peace for GEO 1HA3 (first term) and GEO 1HB3 (second term) last year. He's awesome, probably, the best lecturer I've had to date.

Haha Kevin, I remember that. He was dressed up as the Grim Reaper. He looked something like this:

It was awesome lol, he altered his voice and everything. He even had one of those time glass LOL

Dr. Peace all the way!

Haha, Deza is a great guy, but I don't know if I'd call him the best lecturer. He takes all his notes from other schools

PS: Here's Deza: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXa2Q...eature=related
