Yea they only accept your Mcmaster ID card as the form of identification when you go for refund pickup and no other ID is accepted.

So I went to pickup the opt-out cheque today, but they had a notice posted in the clubspace (outside room 215b) that they are going to mail all the opt-out cheques this year and there wont be any cheque pick-up from the student centre this year.
Also, I believe the notice said that those who opted for direct deposit would get the amount deposited into their account by November 18, 2009.

danallan, jhan523, Marlowe, morgan all say thanks to saukalra for this post.

Yes they changed their minds! Cheques will be mailed
They posted this notice on the McMaster Student Union site: they have had the money all this time and now they want to mail them out to our permanent address, so alert your family if they are going to your home address.

Nov 16, 2009 08:00AM to Nov 30, 2009 06:00PM

It’s that time of year again! Opt-Out Cheques are here.
This year we will be mailing them out to the mailing addresses provided on your opt-out forms. Cheques should be arriving at your residence within a week or two so please keep an eye out for them!
If you chose the direct deposit option, it should be in your bank account by November 17, 2009. If you have any problems with your opt-out or haven’t received your reimbursement by mid-December please email Victoria Scott at [email protected] r.ca

danallan, Kailoli, Lois, malycknm all say thanks to [email protected] for this post.
