How does the OSAP get affected if you had five courses in term 1 and cancelled one whereas changed from 5 to 3 courses next term? Will that make you part time and ineligible to receive osap or revoke the remaining OSAP allocation?

Please go to http://sfas.mcmaster.ca/osap.html and click on the OSAP Eligibility tab. Under Required Course Load and Status you will see how to determine % of course load per term. Dropping courses can affect your entitlement to OSAP. If you receive funds and then drop courses, you may end up with an overpayment. You are restricted from further OSAP after two overpayments.
