Going to university and the first question you ask is which rez party the most, always a good start.
Good luck!

I agree with all the above posters except the last one but um..I think all residences are considered "party" ones to a certain degree? Doesn't it change year to year though depending on who's actually living in them? I live off-campus, so I wouldn't know too much in great detail to begin with but eh.

There's no such thing as a 'party rez', especially considering you don't get to choose which one you end up in. It various from floor to floor and year to year. Guess you'll find out when you move in.

each alumni i have talked to says something different, but the furthest buildings are 10 mins away so if your stuck in one of the "lame" rez your still fine

Sometimes it is the biggest residence, sometimes one of the smaller ones. Depends on the people really.

This institution does not have a designated "party rez" the residence itself does not make people want to party. As stated above it is based on the people in the residence each year.

also, if you want to be in a party area, when you apply to rez set you use your room for "very social" and not much for studying, and youll be right in the middle of everything

Depends on the year. In my year Les Prince had a lot going on. I'm two years removed from it and I've heard that the last 2 years it's been quiet and dead. Brandon is consistently mentioned as one of the party residences but really it comes down to who ends up where and the type of people they are.

Compared to other schools such as Western ad Guelph, the Mac residences are pretty strict in terms of drinking underage... if you are a big party person, get a house off campus.
