Payment Option?
I'm going into Btech this year and i plan on trying to switch into first year engineering after first term, will this be possible? If so which payment option would be best for me if i plan to switch after first term: the payment in full, flex plan for 1 term, or flex plan for 2 term?

You want to switch programs after first term? I don't think this is possible -- not to mention that engineering has like 37 first year units to be completed. You can switch programs after first year though, provided that you've taken some engineering electives.

If I'm totally off base lol, ignore that.

You're probably right bout switchin after first year, but what do you mean by engineering electives? The Btech program is 36 unit and it doesn't have space for electives, so will i still be able to switchout even with no engineering electives? I do have all the prerequisites from high school for the first year engineering program though.

You should talk to Sally Williams (I think), she's the academic adviser for engineers.

As for payment options, it's whatever you think is best for your financial situation. If you need someone to counsel you, talk to an academic adviser or the people at SFAS.

You might have to take an extra term to catch up on classes in the Engineering program.

I'm not sure what classes you'll take in B.Tech (though I did apply for it I got accepted to Engineering, so I didn't put much effort into figuring the program out), but those are the classes you need for Engineering 1.
