Payment Questions
So, I just finished registering at Solar for Engineering 1, and I checked the Payment Agreement form, where it says that just the tuition is ~$10000. Is this normal for an Eng 1 student? I was under the impression that the tuition would be somewhere closer to $6000.

Also, do I have to fill out the Payment Agreement form right away, or can I wait a couple days to finish it?

I don't know where you got the impression that tuition would be closer to $6000 for an engineer...maybe for another faculty that's not a professional program, but engineering has always been higher.
These are the fees per unit, and as a first-year engineer you should be taking 33 units. Then there's supp fees on top of that.

You can wait a few days but it's best to do it ASAP so you don't forget. If it's not done by a certain date then you have to wait longer to access SOLAR when it reopens.

the payment agreement only takes a few seconds. You just have to choose either payment in full or an OSAP flex plan, check off any scholarships/bursaries you'll be getting, and click 'confirm'

As mentioned engineering students will have higher tuition fees. The only faculties that will have at least $6000 tuition fees are Humanities and Social Science (at least that is how much my tuition is for the past three years)

You don't have to do the payment agreement right away. You can leave it for later if you are undecided on what type of payment you're gonna do to pay off your tuition.
