Payments- Student Accnt
Hi
I have already paid my tuition fee which I was to pay leaving OSAP funding. However I paid it using my Bank's site. Now when I check my Student Financial Accnt Statement it shows BALANCE FORWARD (U200909) as to the amnt I paid which was due before Sept 1st. Also PAYMENT AGREEMENT BALANCE shows the same amnt.
But PAYMENTS RECEIVED is recorded as $0.00
Is there anything I should be worried abt? The payment has been already deducted from my bank accnt, but how do I make sure that the payment has been received by McMaster? And why does it still show PAYMENT RECEIVED as 0?

Plz if someone could check with their accnt statement n let me know how it works.

Thanks

It usually takes a business day or two for them to receive the payment.

You'll need to wait some business days. Check back monday or tuesday and stop worrying!

I made my payment last week from my bank. The money was deducted from my bank account immediately but it took two full business days before it showed up on my student account. If the payment was made from your bank account on Friday, it should show up on your student account statement late Monday or Tuesday. I don't think banks transfer funds on Saturday or Sunday as these are not "business days". Also, with everyone making payments in the next few days, the staff posting these payments to your student account could be a little behind.

Richa says thanks to James for this post.

it usually takes them 3-4 business days to process your payment
