physics 1b03 and math 1aa3 full!
hey guys,
I am a first year freshman. I really reallly want to take physics 1b03 and math 1aa3 (as electives) in the second term, however, they are all FULL! this is really frustrating and I feel terrible... Is it likely that some seats become available in september due to some people dropping out? I emailed the department advisors but I haven't gotten reply back.. Is there anyone who is enrolled in these courses, but wish to drop them?
:(

Just keep checking everyday. You can try the Course trading thread.

they will open up. i am 100% sure. you have until like jan 15th to get in anyways. you will get in easily. wait for when timetables to come out to get in. people change a lot of stuff then. and after people do math 1a03, many who are enrolled in math 1aa3 will drop it so you can easily get into that in dec if you wanted lol
also, dont go to the course trading thread for those courses. people will drop them for sure. it will drop like its hot especially in december/beginning of 2nd term.

What, do you think, is the chance like that some people drop these courses in 1st term, so in september? I just want to secure my spot in these courses ASAP.. thank you!

in august when timetables come in, that will be the time i imagine if you check everyday you will get in easily. math 1aa3 will be open for sure by the time 2nd term starts. physics 1b03 you should be able to get in with relative ease too.

I might......i honestly think i should just go for it as all my friends are but at the same time i should take into consideration what some people have told me about the course and how unprepared some first years can be for it...

i dont think you would find the workload heavy for physics. its just the tests can be unforgiving. thats about it.

Oh why is that? are they just difficult in terms of recalling everything or mostly because of trying to apply the knowledge?
