Physics 1B03 Full Summer
Hey guys,

So, sadly, Physics 1B03 is full for the summer. Is there anything I can do to try to get a spot in this class?

I recently had a change of heart, and one of the requirements is Physics 1B03, I was pretty sure I was going into Honours Life Science, so I didn't take it, and always thought that if I wanted to, I'd just take it in the summer.

But, I had this sudden interest in Chemical Biology, and Physics 1B03 is one of the requirements. Is emailing the profs my only option? I just don't know how to ask them CONVINCINGLY if a spot is available, I don't want to make excuses as to why I had this sudden change of heart.

How likely is it that I'll get a spot? If not, I'll probably just take it next year. Thanks!

Physics 1B03 isn't a requirement for admission into chemical biology.

You need 1B03 OR 1L03 for admission. If you don't have 1B03 then you need to take it in second year...so it's still worth trying to get a spot in the course for the summer, but strictly speaking it's not required for admission.

Thanks! Sorry, I meant Honours Chemistry. Does it increase my chances of getting into the class if Physics 1B03 is a requirement for admission to the program?

Yeah, I'm going to be doing that. I just don't want to waste one of my program picks on Honours Chemistry if it's likely that Physics won't open up a spot.

I'm not sure if people will be dropping it until later in the course.
