Please help! conflicting courses???
Hey guys, so I just came back from a 3 week trip and so for the first time I just took a look at my schedule for next year (first year engineering) and at the top of the schedule it says "Action Required" and under it is listed something like History 1B03 conflicts with "tutorial" and "core". My question is, how do i go about "taking action" to change my schedule so that the courses don't conflict, or is it too late???

go on solar and replce it (or th course its cinflicting with) with another course... just make sure not to drop any of your required ... its often as simple as switching a core around... or find another course with available seats that fits your schedule

You can still change your schedule, don't worry! You should try to make sure in future that none of your courses conflict. For now, see if you can choose another tutorial that doesn't conflict with 1B03 and just switch your current tutorial for that one. Or, if nothing like that works, then decide what's more important to you; the course the tutorial's for or 1B03, and choose one over the other.

It won't say on your timetable, but just go back into SOLAR and look to find what classes are given at the same time.

Thank you! ^
They could not have made this anymore difficult for me though...

One more question, what does E O W (in red) above certain time frames in my timetable?

yes pretty much OR if one of the courses has another core/tutorial slot that does not conflict try doing that....

make SURE to check the master timetable before making ANY changes in order to avoid any other conflicts

EVERY OTHER WEEK

So you only attend that class every other week. Make sure you find out which weeks during the first class, though, because tutorials don't take place the first week of school.
