So would it be worth it to not bring too much clothes with me and then buy more clothes from Hamilton?

Be careful though, the last thing you want is to have to make 2 trips to bring everything back home.

Haha, and don't be too quick to bring your winter clothes if you can pick them up later or get your parents to. Too much stuff.

I might not be able to bring as much clothes because of weight restrictions (international student) and winter clothes are really heavy. I've been reading a lot of negative opinions about Hamilton on here that I was afraid there wouldn't be nice and safe places to shop at . Then I'd have to walk around in my summer clothes there all winter and die freezing LOL (dumb....I know) lol

DO NOT BUY winter clothes from home, wherever that maybe! They are no match for the -30 Winters here! Get them from here! Salvation Army maybe if you can't afford 60$ Jackets!

I think 60$ for a proper winter jacket is pretty cheap...

lol Winners FTW? But It isn't sort of a Winter Jacket. I still wear a Hoodie and two shirts beneath it, I sort of survive.

What's the more accurate price tag for a Columbia/Whatever else decent company Winter Jacket?

New Columbia jacket is I think around $150, but cheaper at certain times of the year.

And, Hamilton doesn't get -30C winters it is WAY too far south for that. The coldest I've experienced was -25C with the windchill and that was late at night.
