Sadly I look like a real hobo when I grow facial hair so I quit after week 2.

Some of us, likely 1% of the population, can grow facial hair. Not that it's a sign of maturity. Or that it actually looks good in the long run.

no problem growing the hair here, i just get some hideous patches all over ma face. Anything i can do about this? (other than get different parents to give me better beard growing genes)

Currently rocking the slightly homeless beard. The key is dressing a bit nicer so that people don't actually think you're homeless.
