Prospective 2nd Year BioPsych Schedule - Advice?
Hello, I'm looking to go into BioPsych next year and I would like some opinions on my prospective timetable:

Term One
PNB 2XA3* (Cognition)
PNB 2XB3* (Neuro)
Psych 2AP3 (Abnormal)
Bio 2B03 (Cell Bio)
Bio 2L03 (Experimental Design)

Term Two
PNB 2XD3* (Integrative)
PNB 2XE3* (Stats)
Psych 2C03 (Social Psych)
Bio 2C03 (Genetics)
Life Sci 2N03 (Nutrition)

*only one time slot is offered

Personally, I really enjoyed the abnormal psych and social psych parts of Psych 1X. Neuro from Psych 1XX was a little less enjoyable because I felt that it required a lot of memorization.

How does the workload look? I've heard that PNB 2XA, 2XB, and Psych 2AP are pretty heavy courses, so I'm worried if I'm piling too much onto the first semester. How is the tutorial for PNB 2XA like? It's the only thing that conflicts with Life Sci 2N03 in first semester (if I can take 2N03 in the first semester, I would be able to put Psych 2AP3 in the second). Does anyone know what PNB 2XD3 is like? Thanks in advance for the advice. : )

It doesn't look like you're taking PNB 2XC3; that's a required course, so you might want to consider taking it.

Your schedule looks really similar to mine when I was in second year and you are taking all the right courses but its not going to be easy. So keep up with your work and make sure you get a good study group together for neuro. Also take PNB 2XC3, you'll need it too.

It's not going to be easy.
Could you drop 2XD3 (it's a great course but very difficult...unless they made it mandatory?) and move abnormal psych?
Then you could fit 2XC3 in, like Aadil said. It would also make your first term easier.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I've decided to take PNB 2XC3 this year.

Term One
PNB 2XA3* (Cognition)
PNB 2XB3* (Neuro)
PNB 2XC3 (Animal Behaviour)
Bio 2B03 (Cell Bio)
Bio 2L03 (Experimental Design)

Term Two
PNB 2XD3* (Integrative)
PNB 2XE3* (Stats)
Psych 2AP3 (Abnormal)
Bio 2C03 (Genetics)
Bio 2A03 (Animal Physiology)

I think I made my workload heavier, haha...

I decided to keep 2XD3 because I thought it's better to polish my writing skills while it's still early in my university career. I moved 2AP3 and fit 2XC3 in. : )
