Advice for 4th year...
So I'm going into 4th year Life Science in September and I have picked all my courses and for the most part had no problem getting what I wanted. However, as it stands, I have 4 second year courses.

Originally I had planned on only 3 second year courses, but Bio 4X03 was full and my backup, Kin 3Y03 was full too so I ended up just picking Psych 2C03 (which I am now hearing is a good course??)

I'm going to keep trying to get into Bio 4X03, but even if I do, is 3 second year courses too much to have going into 4th year?? I don't really know what else to take, there aren't many good 4th year courses available or I don't have the prerequisites for them. I wanted to take Bio 3F03, the anatomy course, but its not offered anymore. Gah!!

"is 3 second year ocurses too much to have going into 4th year??"

The OP is clearly unsure and wishes for confirmation from others. Kind of like between a statement and a question.

Well its a good thing I'm not an English major then....jeez...

I just don't know if it looks bad taking so many second year courses when I'm going into 4th year.

Well it depends. Certain graduate schools require 80% of the courses to be from the same year that you are in. For 4th year, 3rd year and 4th are considered equivalent. I would try to switch one of your second year courses to a third year just to be safe.

Psych 2C03 is a great course, so if you dont get into your original courses that you wanted, i'd recommend keeping it. the best thing about life sci is that as mentioned above, 3rd and 4th year courses are equivalent so i'd also reccomend, if possible, switching 1 2nd year course to 3rd year.
