steps2health has been warned about his conduct several times, if he feels he doesn't need to listen, that is his problem. Banishment is not medieval, if I were burning him at the stake then I could see your cause for concern.

Honestly now, I really wasn't serious about it being medieval, it was a joke.
I mean, sarcastic humour might not come across that well over the net, but... really?
My bad.... I guess?

I think tamara and kokosas et al. maybe delete my posts because they think you guys will get too upset if someone you dont know gently teases you without any backing at all.
they are your internet moms, quoting their TOS.
(and I guess in some cases like with Matt Wright, my posts do make people upset and the moms need to step in)

I hate how we start having a semi-serious to serious discussion and you get here, and it goes to shit because we end up arguing with you instead of each other.
For realsies. It makes me not want to post anymore, and to not want to follow my threads.
You, sir, are making this site much less enjoyable than it should be.
Everyone else - please please please don't bother! The internet makes douchebags invincible (feeling).

Can't posters just ignore him if anything?
Ignoring people on the internet is easier than ignoring people real life!
(again I don't see how this post got anywhere near "serious")

Well... I took mostly philosophy courses last year - and it is very difficult to get A+ in philosophy (from my experience the highest mark you can get on essays is 90% because the highest mark they give is A+). Yet my average last year was a full point higher than in years when I have taken mostly health sci courses. Conclude from this what you will.

From what I know, there is a lot of memorization in many health sci courses... so if you're good at that, you're set.
It's definitely not for everyone.

not memorization, but group work.
there are many courses where you are put into groups and have to do a project. It is up to your group to find time outside of class to meet and complete it. In many cases these meetings end up being much longer than the lectures of the course itself.

Lets just agree that Engineering is better than all of you in every definable way possible. Case closed. We aren't going to let our well-deserved title as "that a55hole faculty" be re-branded to health sci's that easily.

There's a lot of group work in every other faculty as well though, its not just health sci. Engineering has tons of group lab work, and I've done at least one group project in almost every theatre and film class I've had...

And, of course, I never mean to say that my faculty is 'better' than anyone else's - you have to do what you enjoy.
I don't think that idea has prevailed much at all in this thread anyways. Sounds like someone's trying to stir shiz up and get attention...

I too wouldn't limit group work to health science... there hasn't been a term where I've had less than a couple groups to contend with between Engineering and Commerce. This term I have 5 out of 6 courses with groups.
