It came out about a year later, the same thing happened with Tales of Vesperia

Tales of Vesperia didn't get a ps3 release in English, only Japanese. This makes me sad, I loved the Tales Series. At least Star ocean added some new things for the PS3 release.

That's a shame, I hear ToV was a solid game. I've heard nothing but complaints in regards to SO4 though...

Good choice, unless you are a 12 year old PS3 is definitely the better option. I always went Sony, and when I've played XBOX on my cousins thats all I heard. XBOX is just Gates trying to buy his way into another industry. True non 12 year old gamers play PS3. Plus XBOX controllers are almost as bad as the Wii.

VC and Demon's Souls are awesome though, but 360 does have a wider RPG selection so far...
Final Fantasy XI was first released in 2004, for PS2. It was released for Xbox 360 in 2006. Yet, you are still using the whole "X came out on 360 first, and PS3 later" argument.

The Last Remnant sucked. Keep it.

Magna Carta is passable.

Star Ocean 4 is available on Playstation 3.

Blue Dragon was a total failure, business-wise.

Tales of Vesperia on PS3 is considered the definitive version, more content and all.

Ultimately, you are left with Lost Odyssey, Fable II and III. These are fine, but initially I asked for -good-, exclusive RPGs.

Of all current generation consoles the PSP has the best selection of RPGs.

<3 PSP

Original games + Remakes + Emulators makes that thing an JRPG fan's wet dream. I'm playing through the remake of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together right this minute.

It's about equivalent to FFT, which is saying a lot since FFT is among the best SRPGs I've ever played. There are a few issues, but it's an amazing game.

Does anyone care to elaborate? I'm not taking sides. I'm just curious.
