Yes thank you I see it, but for some reason it wont let me "verify changes and check for conflicts." It says that nothing has changed, even though I changed it from core 2 to core 4. Anyone know whats up?
Edit: ...and core 4 just got full again :(

Ya everyone is trying to get to change things, but its not as bad as when you first pick your courses for the next academic year.

A lot of classes/sections were full, so I guess people are on, hoping that they'll get lucky and find it available.. Or, it was left till the last minute .

Hey,
Just a note. Marks have not been released yet for Psych 1X03. Since it is a requirement to pass Psych 1X03 before taking Psych 1XX3 there will likely be some more spaces opening up throughout drop and add period once the marks are posted. Please be patient. There is nothing that Dr. Kim or the Instructional Assistant can do - you just need to keep checking SOLAR and hope that space becomes free.
Sincerely,
John McIntyre

Is there anything that can be done if I'm looking to switch tutorial sections not simply out of convenience, but because I have a legitimate conflict with another course?

Unfortunately not because we have limited space in the classrooms that we host our tutorials in. I expect that there will be a lot more openings once Psych 1X03 marks are released. Until then though, you likely won't have much luck. If you still have a legitimate conflict once drop and add period is over and you cannot make any changes on SOLAR, then bring it to the Learning Lab during our Instructional Assistant's (Irene Laurie's) administrative office hours and she might be able to help you. But that will only be done once you are not able to see openings on SOLAR.
Cheers,
John

I'm assuming most people wanted to enjoy their break and not think about any part of school.

Au Contraire, Pierre.
I did all of my timetable changes after exams, and so did a few other people I know.
We totally saw this coming. :p
And as for Psych 1XX3 and tutorial switching, many people will be dropping the course after marks have been released (one of the Instructional T.A.'s on the 1X03 site said it will probably be Wednesday or Thursday) so keep checking and good luck.
