I applied to life sciences and I really hope to get in.

However, I have one mark that i really slipped up on.

My Grade 12 accounting mark is around 65. but i'm not using that as one of my top 6.
my top 6 average will consist of data, chem, bio, adv func, calc, and english

the top 6 average so far is around 92. but i'm still worried because of my HORRIBLE accounting mark.
will the 65 in accounting jeapordize my acceptance in any way? even if it's not one of my top 6 they still look at it. :S

even with 85 u get in

Unless otherwise stated, Mac looks at your overall CUMULATIVE average (of top 6 courses/all the required + electives) not INDIVIDUAL course mark.

Unless accounting is a required course for your entry (e.g. some programs require an English 12 U mark of 60%), it won't be looked at. I know plenty of people who got into Life Sci with one or even 2 not-so-great marks.

If accounting is not in the top 6, then they won't care. You'll get in don't worry.
