Question about Double Major order
Hey guys, I want to do a double major in Honours Political Science and Philosophy, however under grade Report I qualified for Hon. Philosophy and Political Science (silly question, I know) but is that the same as Hon. Political Science and Philosophy (meaning, does the order in which they appear matter?) Are they both Honours programs? Or is the first one that appears a Honour program only?

I think they're the same, if might just be alphabetical. You didn't apply to two versions, did you?
They're def both honours, since its in the title.

I'm pretty sure they're the exact same thing. I don't see how they could be different really, as long as both are Honours programs and a double major.

It could be different if both are listed just like chembio and biochem are different.

Not exactly, but that's because there's no "and" between them. Stating that it's Honours Poli Sci and Philosophy means both the former and the latter are included, unlike Chemical Biology (a branch of biology) and Biological Chemistry (a branch of chemistry).

Chemical Biology is actually more chemistry--definitely not a branch of biology. Biochemistry is not the same as biological chemistry, either. Biological chemistry isn't a program at Mac, and it's also a kind of vague subject area.
But yeah, chemical biology and biochemistry aren't considered double majors, they're two different programs. Honours Poli Sci and Philosophy should be the same as Honours Philosophy and Poli Sci.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm in neither program, I just took it based on mere language with "chemical" being an adjective for biology and just the way the words the organized. Also, last time I checked biochemistry was just a short for biological chemistry (?). But anyway, not important
