A Question For Non-Coop 1st Year Engineering Students
How much are your tuition + miscellaneous fees for the entire year? $8,311.24?

I need to know because there seems to be a discrepancy in my OSAP, Payment Agreement, and Student Account.

Thanks in advance!

did you take into account that the amound seen in the payment agreement should be the total minus the first part of your osap loan?
also, the amount in the payment agreement should be the same as the amount in your student account.

Coop isnt included in the payment agreement, you sign up for it once the year begins, and its only like 100$ apparently.

I realize this is a little off topic, but is it viable for freshman engineering students to be doing co-op? Or is co-op only open to upper years?

Students in any year of engineering are allowed to do co-op, there are just less opportunities for first years since you have only completed a general first year. Once you get into upper years are start to specialize you will have more chances of getting a co-op position.

As I recall from the coop course they straight out tell you that you are not likely to get a coop position if you are first year. The only advantage of taking it first year is that you have the whole year to do it, otherwise if you wait until second year and you want a coop position that following summer, you need complete the course within the first semester in order to have access to job postings by December/January which is when most companies are looking.
