Question About Residence..
Im a second year student and all of my options were for a SINGLE room, on my application it says I have a double.

Is there anything I can do about this?

As far as I know, once you are assigned a room there is no changing it.

It depends on your average if you get a single/double..so, perhaps all those that were applying (upper years) had a high average and the single rooms ran out

it houses 557 students and i believe 11 floors? so about 50 kids per floor, give or take a few

But not guaranteed. They try to match upper years together, but don't be surprised if you get paired with a first year although it rarely happens.

There wasn't any when I lived there It's a rather large washroom and people usually don't go in at the same time
However there was an issue with toilet paper on the floor in the girls washroom... wonder whatever happened to that

I never had any issues using the public washrooms in residence.

It gets cleaned by cleaning staff every day so its generally clean unless you just happen to come in right after someone makes a mess. I never saw any gross messes in the washroom though the whole year.

There was always a shower available when I wanted one and 99% of the time in the washroom closest to my room. There was only 1 time the whole 8 months I had to go use a shower in the other washroom, a washroom I didn't prefer but it was no biggie.

You get used to it after a while.
