Questions..
1. right now, on my SOLAR, i have 5 courses. it says i dont' have the prerequisite, so i sent a waiver form.
Is it okay that i only have 5 courses as of now? because my payment agreement would be changed.. but i know that i will get all of my courses and get up to 10 courses until my end of ONE WEEK.
So as long as I finish the course choosing in one week, it's okay that i have 5 courses for right now ?
2. I'm taking summer school (2 courses), so does this mean that I can take 8 courses insted of the whole course load? 10courses? (since i took 2 already?)
or will i not be on the dean honours list if i only take 8?

1. I would pick back-up courses just in case; you never know what might happen.
2. That is correct. But in truth it doesn't really matter how many courses you take a year. If you want to graduate within the "normal" time span (usually 4 years for honour degrees) then most programs require 120units (30 units per year). So as long as you meet the requirements when you want to graduate then all is well.
There are so many possibilities for taking credits.

I'm actually not sure about the DHL. I think you would be eligible, but it would be best to contact someone about that, maybe SFAS would be the right department.
For summer school I don't think you can take any of the supplementary fees out.

You need at least 30 units to be considered for DHL, and that's after the 'session'. So September to April; I'm not sure if summer counts towards DHL for the next year or if it counts at all.

Yeah, but a session is the time from one academic review to another. An academic review only happens after 30+ units. That's the confusing part. The terms are so vague it's impossible to decipher. Apparently courses taken in summer count towards your sessional average for the following year, so they are part of the "session".

I would say the Registrar, just call McMaster, 0 for the operator and ask for the registrar.
