Quick question
Hey,

So I just finished 2nd year (of Computer engineering) but deferred one of my exams from this past semester and the exam is on the 20th of June. Anyways, when I try to pick my 3rd year courses, it doesnt let me (says I have to wait till 15 June, which is the date for 2nd years).

Who do I talk to get this resolved?

Probably because until your grade for your deferred exam goes onto your record, you may still be considered a second-year student (i.e. you have yet to complete the level II units). I would contact your Associate Dean's office I believe, or an academic advisor to see if this can be resolved.

You'll most likely end up doing your registration with the 2nd years because of that...I doubt anyone can do something to change that because you are technically still a second year student until you have the mark for that last course.

Yes everyone is correct. While you have a deferred exam on your grade report, your program level will not "roll over" to your next year (level 3) until that deferred exam has been written. As such, SOLAR will not admit you for registration as a third year student, but rather as a 2nd year student. Hence, you will be eligible to register for courses on June 15th.
