I am an undergrad in my final year and I want to graduate with a distinction (I believe it is 9.5 inc and above....not sure). I am trying to calculate the GPA I will need in my final year for that.

So far in the last three years I have a cumulative GPA of 9.1 on 111 units and in my final year I am taking 31 units.So that makes a total of 142 units. In addition to this I took a couple of courses (6 units) in other universities , I am not sure how to incorporate them in the GPA calculation. Can any one of you do the math for me and if possible show me the math as well.

Your roughly around a 3.1ish-3.3ish.

Calculate ur average based on the 4.0 scale instead.

A+=4.0, A=3.9, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3,B-=2.7 ETC ETC...

I'm pretty sure courses at other universities are just counted as completed, and not incorporated into the GPA..

True, they aren't incorporated in your McMaster GPA but they will be taken into account if you apply to professional or graduate school (assuming it's a required course).
