"Raise The Roof" Concert Series in Downtown Hamilton

Hey Insiders! There is a free concert series happening downtown on Friday. Details below!

”Raise the Roof” Concert Series, 2013 Edition (presented by Hamilton Magazine)
Friday, June 14, 2013 (Special store hours: 10:00 am until 11:00 pm)

6:00 – 6:30pm > Christopher Clause

7:00 – 7:30pm > Dawn and Marra

8:00 – 8:30pm > Conservation Authority

9:00 – 9:30pm > Matt Paxton

10:00 – 10:45pm > SPECIAL GUEST (TBA)

Dr. Disc, the iconic downtown Hamilton music store, will once again be “Raising the Roof” by hosting free, outdoor live musical performances outside the store at 20 Wilson Street (at James) to coincide with Art Crawl Friday (the second Friday of every month) through October this year.

The purpose of these concerts is to:
  • feature local, independent musical artists of all genres and expose them to as widespread audience as possible – for FREE!
  • increase awareness of and highlight the diversity and vitality of the independent Hamilton music scene.
  • encourage the public to come to downtown Hamilton to experience all that it has to offer.
  • to give back to the community for the support it has shown for Dr. Disc since the doors opened back in 1991.

The next 2013 session takes place this Friday, June 14 between the hours of 6 and 11pm. A listing of the participating musical artists is below.
