oh wow you guys sure didn't hold anything back did you. And yes i realize having friends would make the job less painful, however i'd rather not have 40 something year old friends(which the majority of the office is) thank you verry much. I've also found that i made a lot ofger youn friends however all of them seem to be very casual friends (not close), and dont seem to warm to the idea when i suggest going out and having fun (it's almost as if they wan't nothing to do with me unless i can help them in some way , either that or their not into that sort of thing.

and the haters (lawley, eulwm, etc.) need to stfu, i came here for advice not to get insulted.

with one week left and reading all your posts, I still find the job unbearable, it's just a testament to my will power that i can do it day in and day out;

I know i really value choosing a career path that i find interesting and engaging, and i will work hard in order to achieve that goal, and i made a little money as well, so in all the year was not a complete waste.

That's what I see as positive about my summer job too. It was pretty boring and I didn't enjoy it, but if only ONE good thing came out of it: at least I know this isn't what I want to do with my life. It's better to have spent 4 months putting up with a job you dislike than putting up with it for 20 years before moving on.
