Recommended second year commerce courses to take during summer?
I'm thinking of taking COMM 2QA3 and another commerce course. Any suggestions?

A good one to take is Econ 2X03. You'll end up with Holmes; she teaches it well yet goes through the content in 2/3 the time needed to teach it. Comm 2QA3 is really boring (even the prof admits it) so you would dread having to sit through it for 3 hrs straight 2 times a week at night.

Yeah, I agree with taking ECON 2X03 as Holmes will be teaching it. I took 2QA3 last spring and didn't find it too bad.

I also took 2BA3 and 2BC3 and found them incredibly boring. But I would rather get them out of the way in a few weeks than have them drag on during the fall/winter terms.

Yes, I would recommend getting 2X03 out of the way, especially if Holmes is teaching it.

2qa3 just to get it done, and 2x03 as mentioned above, other courses that are annoying are OB and HR and they are easier in the summer (from my experience anyway).

Just take any heavy course to get it out of the way

2MA3 with Badh is pretty good, just make sure you have a decent group for the two reports
