Need Advice on Commerce Summer Courses
I just took a look at the Summer 2011 schedule, I'm not sure if I should take 2 or 4 Commerce courses this summer?

I was thinking of taking econ 2x03 and OB 2BA3 in term 1. in term 2, i was thinking of taking Finance 2FA3 and HR 2BC3? Would this course load be too much to do over the summer? or just do one term?

can anyone who took summer school in previous years share their experience?

any advice is appreciated! thanks.

2X03 and 2BA3 are complete jokes, so no, the workload won't be much. Can't comment on 2FA3 myself-- did Econ 2I03 instead. If it's structured much like 2I03, though, it'll be a pretty basic workload as well.

i dont recommend taking finance during the summer, especially if Deaves is teaching, leave 2ba3 for the term its easy, dont take 2X03 unless dr Khan is teaching it, take accounting 2aa3 and 2ab3, take commerce 2sb3 as another elective and that should lighten your load a lot and take Econ 2j03 for a gpa boost.

It's not offered in the summer. But it's not bad in terms of material. The first half is like highschool data management. Second year commerce courses aren't really difficult it's just that we usually have like 2 tests and other assignments/quizes almost every week. It's the year they try to kickout the lazy ppl.
