Repeating Entrance Scholarship
So this is my first year at McMaster and I received $2000 based off my high school grades. In the past I know if you kept a certain average you would retain your scholarship for the next year as well. However this year I talked to a couple people who claim that McMaster has stopped doing that. Does any one here know anything about entrance scholarships repeating with good grades?

What you have heard is true. Unfortunately, it is not renewable and does not repeat.

You're supposed to retain at least the 2nd term entrance scholarship if you maintain the average you got it for.. most of the scholarships and bursories are for marks and demonstration of financal need every year

It used to be that way (renewable for 2 years), but the last time they did that was 2 years ago, unfortunately.

Considering that all the entrance scholarship values will be slashed this year, I doubt it will be renewable.

Yeah, considering that that's around the cutoff for most of the programs.
