I've been trying to apply for residence, and I've created and
activated my mac ID but it won't let me log in to apply.
It keeps saying "Either your session has timed out or you are not
currently logged in. Please visit the University login page to log
in." And it keeps happening after I follow the link. I'm not sure if I did something wrong with my mac ID or if the program is just really
busy and not working...
Im tech challenged so any help would be great!

I thought the application wouldn't open until later in the year? I could be wrong though.

The login link opens up a small pop-up window. If you have pop-ups blocked in your web-browser then you might not be seeing the login window appear.
-What browser are you using?
-Do you have a pop-up-blocker installed?

This is the unfortunate thing about Mac. Anything related to technology doesn't work properly.

Agreed.
Keep trying...it will work. Eventually. I find that swearing and cursing at Mac technologies is the best way to make it work. Yup.
If you do have a lot of problems, call the residence admissions office.

When I was filling it out I ran into the same error and then I switched browsers.
You may want to restart and switch browsers.
It seems more like a compatibility issue versus a server problem on their end.

I was using Firefox I believe, and I switched to Safari.
OR I was using Safari and I switched to Firefox.
Either way - I can't remember, but...switching usually helps.
