I decided to cancel residence application because I got an apartment instead. I got a Les Prince Single so right now my due balance is sitting at $16,000. When will this go down to just the tuition amount (around $6800)? I want to pay my tuition.

Why don't you just create your bank transfer or whatever and transfer ONLY the amount for tuition leaving the residence amount in your account. Then just make sure the residence people take it off your account

You can do the subtraction yourself and pay your tuition, if you're getting impatient...
Or you could email/call them.
