Does the university have printers/scanners that students can use?

Depending on the size of your desktop/laptop, you shouldn't need a tv since with DC++ (file sharing network that has 10+ terabytes) than there is little point.
Nearly every printer I looked at has some kind of scanner/printer combo, unless you get one that prints really fast, and those tend to be bigger.

I'd suggest bringing a laser printer, I bought mine for $50 and haven't changed the toner in two years with heavy use.
My laser printer is quite small, perhaps smaller than a lot of inkjet printers.
Also, a slightly bigger Monitor to connect to your laptop to watch movies / just have more work space. The internet is super fast and you could just download / stream whatever you need to watch.

My point was more that it depends on your individual use, what printer you should get, and was in response to someone telling the OP to get a B&W printer because they'll never need a colour one, which is not the case for everyone.
My printer is also a scanner, and I have found that to be incredibly useful as well.

So I'm assuming that for the sole purpose of safety, that I should get a colour printer. I really don't know what I'm going to need in relation to my courses and printing situation, so maybe just getting a colour printer is more safe? Is the price range really that different?
And also, are we not allowed at all to bring our own fridges? How do we go about ordering one?

We are not allowed to bring our own fridges but we can rent them from Coldex for about $130 I believe.

I wouldn't get a colour printer for the sole purpose of safety!!! I actually have both a laser black and white and colour printer. The colour one I got free with the purchase of my laptop and used it first year and had to refill it like 3 times and it's so darn expensive. So last year I brought my laser printer to Hamilton. So worth it! I've had it for 7 years and only changed the ink 3 times! It also prints so much faster. Saves you a lot of money! I've never had a problem and I would ask one of my roommates if I really needed colour or go to the library. I understand why Lauren needs colour being in chem ! But I don't think it should be a problem for humanities!

I also find the scanner part of the printer useful. My laser one doesn't have that but the colour one does, an other reason I kept it
