La Spaghett.

It's on Upper James right next to the Stag Shop, looks sketch from the outside, is amazing on the inside, and seats like 20-30 people tops. The food is absolutely exquisite Italian and it's such a nice place that you have to get a reservation any night of the week, including Sunday-Thursday. You should have an easy time booking a reservation regardless.

Best restaurant ever

Steve, we're forcing the stereotype that on first dates, only Italian is acceptable. haha

I guess it depends on what kind of food you wanna eat.
Mediterranean: La Luna, Montfort
Italian: La Piazza Allegra
If you want steak or ribs: the keg, tony roma's
Thai: Spice Avenue
Vegetarian: The village green cuisine
Regular Meal (pasta, pizza, steak etc) + good dessert: symposium
Dessert: Demetere

Here's a link to restaurants in the Hamilton area. Check it out: http://menusonly.com/hamilton/index.php/bistro.html
