LSAT LOGIC GAME 1
(Good Luck, you'll need it )
P.S. You need to finish ALL these questions in 8 and a half minutes to meet the timing restriction of the test
The time starts NOW:
A college career counselor must schedule meetings with eight graduating seniors to discuss their plans. Of the eight students, four, Harmony, Ivy, Kawanna, and Laurita, are women, and four, Miguel, Nathaniel, Oliver, and Phillipe, are men. She will meet one-on-one with each of these students over a period of five consecutive days, Monday through Friday. Her schedule permits her to meet with exactly one student each morning and with exactly one each evening; she meets students at no other times.
The following conditions apply:
One of the women is scheduled for Monday morning
Ivy is scheduled some time before Oliver
Oliver is scheduled in the time slot immediately after Nathaniel's time slot
The counselor will meet with no students on Wednesday
Ivy cannot be scheduled on Monday
Miguel is not last on the schedule
Phillipe is scheduled for Tuesday evening
Laurita must follow Phillipe but can neither immediately precede nor immediately follow Nathaniel.
Questions:
1. Which of the following could be a complete and accurate schedule of meetings?
a)Monday Morning: Harmony; Monday Evening: Kawanna; Tuesday Morning: Ivy; Tuesday Evening: Phillipe; Thursday Morning: Laurita; Thursday Evening: Miguel; Friday morning: Nathaniel; Friday evening: Oliver
b)Monday Morning: Harmony; Monday Evening: Kawanna; Tuesday Morning: Phillipe; Tuesday Evening: Laurita; Thursday Morning: Ivy; Thursday Evening: Miguel; Friday morning: Nathaniel; Friday evening: Oliver
c)Monday Morning: Harmony; Monday Evening: Kawanna; Tuesday Morning: Laurita; Tuesday Evening: Phillipe; Thursday Morning: Ivy; Thursday Evening: Miguel; Friday morning: Nathaniel; Friday evening: Oliver
d)Monday Morning: Miguel; Monday Evening: Harmony; Tuesday Morning: Ivy; Tuesday Evening: Phillipe; Thursday Morning: Laurita; Thursday Evening: Kawanna; Friday morning: Nathaniel; Friday evening: Oliver
e)Monday Morning: Kawanna; Monday Evening: Harmony; Tuesday Morning: Ivy; Tuesday Evening: Phillipe; Thursday Morning: Laurita; Thursday Evening: Nathaniel; Friday morning: Oliver; Friday evening: Miguel
2. Which one of the following could be a complete and accurate list of the students scheduled for the morning meetings in order?
a)Kawanna, Harmony, Nathaniel, Oliver
b)Harmony, Miguel, Kawanna, Oliver
c)Kawanna, Harmony, Miguel, Oliver
d)Kawanna Harmony, Miguel, Nathaniel
e)Harmony, Kawanna, Laurita, Nathaniel
3. Which one of the following must be true?
a)Harmony is scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday
b)Kawanna is scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday
c)Miguel is scheduled for either Tuesday or Thursday
d)Ivy is scheduled for either Tuesday or Thursday
e)Oliver is scheduled for either Tuesday or Thursday
4. If Miguel is scheduled for Tuesday morning, then which of the following could be true?
a)Phillipe meets with the counselor immediately after Ivy does
b)Kawanna meets with the counselor immediately after Harmony does
c)Ivy meets with the counselor immediately after Miguel does
d)Oliver meets with the counselor on Thursday
e)Harmony meets with the counselor on Friday
5. If Ivy is scheduled for Thursday evening, then each of the following must be true EXCEPT:
a)Miguel is scheduled for Monday afternoon
b)Laurita is scheduled for Thursday morning
c)Laurita is scheduled before Oliver
d)Miguel is scheduled before Laurita
e)Harmony is scheduled for Monday or else Tuesday
6. Which one of the following must be false?
a)Ivy is scheduled for Tuesday
b)Oliver is scheduled last
c)Harmony is scheduled last
d)Both Laurita and Miguel are scheduled for Friday
e)Both Harmony and Nathaniel are scheduled for Friday

3:47) 1 is A
3:48) 2 is E
3:49) 3 is D
3:51) 4 is B
3:53) 5 is A
(But since it took me like, 3 minutes for question 1 I kinda already failed the 8 minute thing)
6... CDE?.... Kay I'm guessing I got everything else wrong then? @ [email protected]
EDIT: AAAAAAaaanddd... I realize where I went wrong (I totally fail at this)
EDIT EDIT: and even after I adjusted my error, I'm still getting the same answers for 1, 3, 4, and 5... Am I doing something *else* wrong!? >_<
EDIT EDIT EDIT: Yeah this is why you don't do puzzles at nearly 4 in the morning (also I know what I did wrong *again* but I'm giving up because it's just so gosh darn complicated.
EDIT X4: Kay, I lied earlier.
Keep my answers the same.
6 is E.
(also, considering I did the question 3 times and still go the same answers for the first five all three times, I think the question is somewhat flawed >_>)

It depends on the placement of N, L and O (I forgot their names, I just wrote the initials when I was working it out on paper)
But everything in 6 is possible except for E.

L has to be after P, I has to be before O. N has to be right before O. Since P has a set time, Tu evening, then L has to be after, as do N and O because I can't go on Mo.
... Wait, what are we arguing?
Edit: So N and O have to be on Friday...
I probably did something wrong.
Edit: OH! Okay. So if L and M are on Friday, I can be on Tu morning and N and O can be on Th!

Worst idea to post in this thread when your settings have an email sent to you after every reply.

There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals, a Lion, a Chimpanzee, a Giraffe, and a Squirrel, who pass by. They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get a banana off the tree. Who do you guess will win? Your answer will reflect your personality. So think carefully . . .. Try and answer within 30 seconds

Nevermind, I'm so stupid. It's a coconut tree!
Edit: I can't believe you tricked me again, just like with "Moses" Ark >.>
