Are the wall calendar and agenda only given if you have a MacPass though?

Not to my knowledge. I've got a free one every year, and they never checked me.

That's why I keep telling you guys, don't buy much stuff now. I know it's tempting, especially since you've been buying things ahead of time for years. But you get a lot of free stuff in welcome week. There's a lot of time to talk to people, go to a couple classes, and figure out what you'll need.

Reusable mug? Is it he MacGreen mug? I won one at the Mission to Mac XD
Do we need a geometry set for Math? I'm in 1A03 and 1AA3. I just need to know if I need a compass, protractor, triangular rulers, etc.
Also, what kind of washing machines are on campus? High Efficiency Front Loaders?

It's SO very tempting. Back to school shopping is a ritual. A ritual that's actually sortakinda fun! Ah well. At least everyone will be saved somewhat if they forgot anything. ;P

free wall calendar + the whole msu swag bag = for ALL students (for returning students, if you noticed, they slash part of your validation sticker lightly once you get it to make sure you don't secretly go to get another one)
jhan523,
You don't really need a math set because it's just calculus (i.e. calculations + maybe a little graph drawing but that's all going to be by hand).
And the washing machines...I don't what 'kind', but they're pretty small and...probably not 'high efficiency'! If you go to the rez site, some residences give you pictures of the laundry.

Matthews Hall had really awful washing machines back when I was there, but the Les Prince ones were top notch!

the 2008/09 SPC is out. you can buy it at a drugstore or one of the specially listed stores on the SPC site. or, if you're like me, you could buy it online using credit card or debit (I used my debit). you also get the choice of a free gift certificate from certain retailers (Jean Machine, Guess).
